This course provides the required instruction and training for obtaining a Course Certificate needed for the Concealed Carry Handgun Permit application. It is a 10-hour class which includes classroom instruction and a live fire qualification requirement. The classroom portion includes a written exam. Both the exam and the live-fire qualification must be successfully completed to receive the Course Certificate.

Course is meant for the beginner - someone new, or relatively new, to the world of handguns and firearms. The course will provide the critical basics of safety, an overview of the different cycles of operation (how they work,) and some guidelines to consider when selecting your first handgun.
